CMI Forges a Partnership with Brentwood
Community Markets, Inc (CMI) is proud to announce a continuing partnership with Brentwood Industries. Brentwood has supported CMI for the past two years, and most recently donated $600 to support CMI’s overall mission of feeding hungry families in West Virginia with healthy food grown locally. Each donation and partnership is critical to growing wealth and wellness in West Virginia.

This isn’t the first time Brentwood Industries has worked with CMI. In the past, Brentwood contributed to CMI’s campaign to raise funds for a new refrigerated trailer. Brentwood’s assistance helped CMI achieve the fundraising goal and purchase the trailer currently in use!

Partners like Brentwood Industries allow CMI to not only run local farmer’s markets, but also to organize monthly Food Box Giveaways, where bags of healthy, locally-sourced food are distributed to families in need.
Community Markets Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Charles Town, WV whose mission is to connect locally grown food to families in need. All of CMI’s programs and activities increase food security and access to healthy and affordable food grown in WV for all Appalachian families, especially underserved and low-income families.
