Roxann Evans is serving with CMI this summer as a VISTA Summer Mobile Markets Intern. Originally from Frederick, Maryland, she relocated to West Virginia in 2021 to be closer to family. Roxann holds a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology. Her professional experience includes working in private, public, and alternative educational settings, where she developed a strong commitment to supporting individuals and strengthening community resources. Through her service with CMI, Roxann hopes to expand access to affordable, locally sourced food and increase awareness of local food resources available to families throughout the region. She is passionate about community engagement and dedicated to creating meaningful, lasting impact through service and education.
