Community Markets Food Box Giveaway
Community Markets Food Box Giveaways provide fresh and local food to food insecure families in Jefferson County, WV and the surrounding region. One Giveaway is held every few months at Saint James Catholic Church in Charles Town, WV.
All cash donations are used to buy food from local farmers. Donations of shelf-stable food or gift cards to local grocery stores are welcome. See Upcoming Events for volunteer opportunities.
Local Food Access Program
The Local Food Access Program increases access to healthy food grown by local farmers. Food will be available for purchase through an e-Commerce website and be ready for pick up at the St. Isidore Farmers Market each Friday evening from April through November. Card and cash accepted as well as SNAP. Check back often for additional details.
