Claire Hilbers joined the Community Markets Inc. team in December 2025 as a Resource Specialist. Raised in West Virginia, Claire brings a deep understanding of the region and the unique strengths and challenges facing local families. With a background in social work and human services, she has several years of experience supporting individuals and families through case management, benefits coordination, compliance, and community-based programs. Claire holds a Bachelor of Social Work and has worked extensively with federally funded programs, with professional experience spanning housing assistance, healthcare auditing, grant management, and client advocacy. She also brings experience in graphic design and photography, supporting clear communication and community outreach efforts. Passionate about food access and community stability, Claire is committed to ensuring families have access to healthy, locally sourced food and the resources they need to thrive. In her role, she is excited to support Community Markets Inc.’s mission by strengthening connections that help West Virginia communities grow more resilient.
